I felt sorry for the main character, Kim, in a lot of ways but she’s pretty immature and frustrating when it comes to men. The characters are each unique in their own way. It’s a good mystery with a lot of twists and turns. It’s descriptive but not so much that I was tempted to skip paragraphs as I often do. Prey of Desire is a psychological thriller that gets your attention from the very beginning. That connection puts her life in danger, and exposes secrets better left buried around her closest friends and family. Worse, whoever is sending her all the extra attention is not only in her inner-circle, but has a connection to that unsolved murder some 25 years ago.
